Central Avenue Center of Hope

Where All Are Welcome

A ministry of Midlands Mission Center and Community of Christ

Donation Opportunities

Donation Options

There are many ways an individual or business can make a difference in the lives of people in need through the Central Avenue Center of Hope.

Donations of GOODS and FOOD are needed on a daily basis.  These items assist in the lives of those in need.

Individuals, churches, and business groups can volunteer to serve noon meals.

Financial assistance helps the Center pay for day to day operations which include gas, electric and general building upkeep.

Please do not ship packages to the Center!

The packages might grow legs and walk away. Please contact Marsha at the Center and see where you can ship the packages to.

The items we can use on a regular basis are:

Hygiene items: mask, shampoo, hand lotion, razors, deodorant, toothpaste, tooth-brushes

Lunches: snack items, pudding, crackers, granola bars, fruit cups, chips, cookies

Pantry: soups, tuna, beans, cereal, side dishes, jelly, vegetables, fruits

Homeless: coats, hats, gloves, blankets, jeans, sweat shirts, boots

Thrift Store: anything

Why Does the Central Avenue of Hope Need All of these Paper Items?

The Central Avenue Center of Hope daily uses 100-150 cups, 75-100 plates (plus the same number of dessert plates or bowls the menu requires) and 100 + napkins.

Toilet paper and paper towels are also used quite extensively.

These paper donations save the CACH  $5,000 to $7,000 a YEAR!
